A break in the weather: It will start snowing, and temperatures will drop to -8 degrees

The Czech Republic is expected to experience a significant drop in temperatures and snowfall in the coming week, as a cold front moves through the country. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová has forecasted that morning temperatures will drop to minus eight degrees and in some places, it will freeze all day.

Honsová also warned of dangerous winter weather phenomena such as ice and frost that may form at night and in the mornings, which could complicate traffic. Monday is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with occasional fog, while Tuesday and Wednesday will bring cloudy skies with rain or snow showers in some places, particularly in the eastern and southern areas.

By Thursday, overnight temperatures will drop to as low as -8 degrees and daytime temperatures will remain between -1 and 3 degrees. The forecast for the rest of the week is for cloudy to partly cloudy skies with occasional snow or snow showers.
