The libretto of the musical from the outskirts of Prague was written by film director Jan Svěrák and the songs and lyrics to it were written by the singer Tomáš Klus. For Jan Svěrák, the introduction of the musical is a theatrical first: “I started writing a new screenplay, and for a long time I didn’t want to believe that a film was being created under my hands, but a theatrical musical. I never did theater! And who should compose all those new songs? He feels he is moving away from his wife and his strength is waning. When his bike disappears from the garage, he decides to find the culprit and get back what once belonged to him. In this way, he reaches the local homeless, in whose grove they allegedly have powerful dreams at full moon. He will spend a magical night with them, which will bring an unexpected awakening. “We tend to turn a blind eye to reality if we don’t like the homeless. At the same time, it is precisely the rejected and rejected part of reality that sets the most faithful mirror for us, “stated Jan Svěrák.
