Chilly and Wet Weekend Ahead for the Czech Republic, but Warmer Temperatures Expected Next Week
The upcoming weekend in the Czech Republic is expected to be characterized by cool and wet weather, as cold and humid western currents sweep through the region. As a result, temperatures are not anticipated to surpass 20°C. Additionally, the eastern part of the country is likely to experience heavy rainfall. However, relief is on the horizon as meteorologist Dagmar Honsová has predicted a rise in temperatures for the following week, with highs reaching up to 25°C.
Thursday will be overcast with occasional rain showers, and some parts of the northwest may experience partly cloudy skies. Afternoon temperatures are expected to reach between 20°C and 24°C.
Similar conditions will persist on Friday, with heavy cloud cover, intermittent rain, and isolated thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will dip to 11°C to 15°C, while afternoon highs will range between 19°C and 23°C.
Saturday will bring mostly cloudy or overcast skies, scattered rain, showers, and potentially thunderstorms in certain regions of the eastern part of the country. Morning temperatures will range from 9°C to 13°C, with afternoon highs expected to reach 15°C to 19°C.
The overcast and occasionally rainy weather is set to continue into Sunday, with morning temperatures hovering between 9°C and 13°C, and afternoon highs ranging from 15°C to 20°C.
Looking ahead to the following week, the forecast indicates primarily cloudy weather with scattered rain showers and the possibility of some partly cloudy skies. Morning temperatures will range from 8°C to 12°C, while afternoon highs will be between 18°C and 23°C.
Despite the cooler and wetter conditions during the weekend, Czech residents can look forward to the temperature increase next week, providing some relief from the chilly weather. As the weather transitions to warmer temperatures, it offers an opportunity for outdoor activities and a chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that the Czech Republic has to offer.
