Chinese Embassy in Prague (Velvyslanectví Čínské lidové republiky)

The Duan ink stone, dating back to the Chang Dynasty, dates back to about 1,400 years. It’s made from rocks from the area near the Duanxi Stream in the eastern suburb of Zhaojing City in south China’s Guangtong Province, and is why it’s called the “Duan Ink Stone”. Liu Xinxiang is considered an expert in this field and has been practicing the craft for 40 years. Come and see his work. #china #craft
