Comic-Con Prague, the popular Czech pop culture festival, is set to take place at Prague’s O2 Universum from Friday to Sunday. The festival is dedicated to movie, TV, comic book, and gaming enthusiasts, with a primary focus on sci-fi, fantasy, and horror genres. The event will feature exclusive premieres, with several celebrities confirmed to attend.

The festival will provide fans with an opportunity to meet an unprecedented number of actors, comic book artists, writers, and other artists, all in one place. The program will feature an exceptional premiere of the horror film Bloody Johann, with the participation of its creators and actors, and a presentation of the first fantasy series Voyo, entitled Witch, with a delegation of authors and stars who will play in it.

Among the newly confirmed guests are Ian McDiarmid, an actor and director who is best known for his role as Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars franchise, and the duo of actors from the popular British sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo – Kim Hartman and Richard Gibson. Actress Christina Chong, who has been playing one of the leading roles in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds series since 2022, and Elodie Grace Orkin, whose name all fans must associate primarily with the series Stranger Things, will also attend.

The festival will also offer several workshops and talks, such as a conversation with Christina Chong or a Q&A with author T. A. Barron. The new film Flash Gordon’s 40th Anniversary 4K Restoration will also be screened, and an after-party with DJs.

The festival will provide a special HBO Max zone, which will be connected to the latest hits, Rod of Dragons, with a giant dragon skull backdrop, and The Last of Us. The cinema city will also offer a chill-out zone for attendees to relax and take a break from the action.

In addition to movie experiences, the festival will feature larger spaces with PokéTour and games. Fans of the Japanese phenomenon Pokémon can learn about the franchise’s history and play games such as Pokémon Sword and Shield. Overall, Comic-Con Prague promises visitors an unforgettable experience filled with exclusivity, entertainment, and excitement.
