Czech Weather Forecast: Sunny Days and Gradual Warming Expected
The first week of October in the Czech Republic is bringing sunny days and relatively warm temperatures, with some areas experiencing highs of up to 29°C. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová predicts a cold front with rain expected on Wednesday, but temperatures will gradually rise again from Thursday onwards. For now, autumn weather will only be noticeable through morning mists.
On Monday and Tuesday, maximum temperatures are expected to reach 27°C and 29°C, thanks to warm southwestern winds. Both days will be partly cloudy or clear, with occasional morning fog or low clouds. Even at higher altitudes, such as 1000 meters above sea level, temperatures will remain relatively high, around 18°C.
However, Wednesday will bring a colder air mass, leading to increased cloudiness and sporadic showers. Morning temperatures will range from 8°C to 12°C, while daytime temperatures will be between 15°C and 19°C.
After this brief cooling period, temperatures will begin to rise again from Thursday. The day is expected to be partly cloudy to overcast, with isolated showers. Morning temperatures will range from 4°C to 8°C, followed by daytime temperatures of 16°C to 20°C.
Friday will see similar conditions, with some areas experiencing morning fog and low cloudiness. Temperature ranges will be consistent with those on Thursday.
Throughout the week, morning mists and low cloudiness are expected, but they will be accompanied by increasing temperatures. By Saturday, temperatures will range from 20°C to 24°C, and on Sunday, they are expected to reach up to 25°C.
While the week may bring some fluctuations in weather conditions, overall, the Czech Republic can expect sunny days and gradually warming temperatures as October progresses. Stay tuned for the latest weather updates!
