Parents of children that don’t attend additional Slovenian language classes yet but might be thinking about it, we kindly invite you on Tuesday, 21.6. at 16:30 to the garden of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia.
Students of supplementary classes will be visited by actress Metka Pavšič at the end of the school year and will introduce them to the world of blind and visually impaired with a guitar, a white stick, a phone and a color detector. Students will stage a story about Cat Copatarica and sing a couple of folk songs with Metka Pavšič.
Additional Slovak language lessons otherwise take place in the premises of the State Language School, Školská ul. 15, Praha 1, on Tuesdays in two separate groups. From 16.00 to 17.30 the beginners group from 4-8 years old meets, from 17.30 to 19.00 the continuation group.
The goal of additional Slovenian language classes is to preserve and develop Slovenian language among Slovenians around the world, strengthen their Slovenian identity, belonging to the Slovenian nation and contacts with the motherland.
At the class we try to enrich our vocabulary, learn grammar rules, get to know Slovenian jokes and habits, spread knowledge about Slovenia and also about the city where we live, organize different workshops, prepare performances and events to include we teach our parents also.
