Embassy of Slovenia in Prague / Velvyslanectví Republiky Slovinsko v Praze

Yesterday at the embassy there was an event at the end of the school year for students that are attending a supplementary Slovenian course in Prague under the leadership of their teacher Helena Poche. 👩 🏫 At the beginning the children sang the 🇸🇮 anthem and read poems by Tonet Pavček and Anja Štefan. They also received their certificates on this occasion. 📜
At the end of the school year and at the departure of the current diplomatic team, the Embassy thanked Helena Poche for her dedicated teaching of Slovenian language and passing on the knowledge of Slovenian customs and habits to the students. 🙏 We also thank the students for a very interesting pictorial presentation of learning Slovenian language, which they donated to the embassy. 🤩 On the drawings the students showed how they were experiencing the Slovenian language class, where they also learned about bees and watched an exhibition about the importance of pollinators in Ladronka Park. 🐝
Special thanks also to the parents who enroll their children for additional Slovenian language lessons and support them in every way. We wish more and more children would attend the classes. The goal of the lesson is not only deepening knowledge of Slovenian language, getting to know Slovenia, it’s jokes and habits, but also socializing and cooperating with one another. 😊😊😊
