The event took part: Government Human Rights Commissioner Clara Šimachkova Laurenčíkova, Director of the Department of Asylum and Migration Policy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic Pavel Novotna, Coordinator for Refugee Affairs from the United Nations Dejan Kladarin and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Czech Republic.

The event was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Yan Lipavsky, who expressed his gratitude to UNICEF, UNHCR in the Czech Republic, donors and non-governmental organizations for consistent support and assistance to temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine and assured Ukraine’s continued unwavering support.

Temporary trustee of Ukraine in the Czech Republic Vitaliy Usaty thanked those present for effective and consistent assistance to temporarily displaced persons from Ukraine.

As part of the event, Ukrainian children and representatives of the MRIYA Help and Support Center UA presented to the attention of attendees a dance and theater performance as a sign of gratitude to the Czech society.
