Feri was charged with two counts of rape and one count of attempted rape

The District State Prosecutor’s Office for Prague 3 (SZ) has filed an indictment in the case of several rapes of which former MP Dominik Feri is accused, the spokesman of SZ confirmed.

The court will decide on the indictment, and if found guilty, Feri faces up to 10 years in prison. The prosecution relates to allegations of rape of a 17-year-old girl and other alleged victims, who Feri was supposed to have met on social media, invited to his apartment or friends’ homes and demanded sexual intercourse.

Feri has denied the rape charges but apologized for “inappropriate” or “improper” behavior. He resigned from his seat as an MP after the police charges last June, stating that he intends to prove his innocence.
