Previews of anticipated films, introductions with guests, red carpet and festival atmosphere. All this can be enjoyed by the audience of 43 cinemas, which has so far been involved in the unique project Tady Vary 2023/24 across the Czech Republic. On a special night, guests will enjoy one Wednesday a month from October 2023 to May 2024, at the same time in all 43 cinemas at once. The programme will feature Czech previews of prominent world films that meet strict criteria – positive reviews of criticism and success with audiences. The film season opens on October 18, 2023 with The Golden Palm Winner at Cannes , a picture of Anatomy of the Fall. Viewers can look forward to the films The Art of Eating and Loving or Napoleon, before Christmas then the renewed premiere of Love Actually. The spring release of Dune is also under negotiation: Part two.

Výjimečný koncept Tady Vary 2023/24 proběhne nově v podobě “filmové sezóny”. Půjde o cyklus deseti předpremiér prémiových filmů, které se odehrají v předem daných středečních termínech. Do konce roku se diváci mohou těšit na čtyři konkrétní tituly, další program sezóny bude oznámen před koncem roku. Organizátoři přehlídky spolupracují s několika filmovými distributory — CinemArt, Falcon, Aerofilms nebo Vertical Entertainment, díky čemuž se mohou návštěvníci akce těšit na maximálně kvalitní a atraktivní dramaturgii. Akce má za cíl podpořit celoroční návštěvnost kin a kvalitních filmů.

Každá projekce bude mít přidanou hodnotu v podobě červeného koberce ve všech 43 kinech a také slavnostní úvod, který proběhne v jednom z kin a bude přenášený do všech sálů v republice. U vybraných titulů pak bude následovat živě přenášený interaktivní dialog s tvůrci. “Smyslem akce je připravit divákům sérii mimořádných zážitků, prohloubit jejich vztah ke kvalitnímu filmu a povzbudit je k pravidelnější návštěvě kin ve všech krajích České republiky,” říká výkonný ředitel karlovarského festivalu Kryštof Mucha. “Výběr filmů se pohybuje na hranici mezi divácky přístupným artovým filmem a tím nejkvalitnějším a nejchytřejším mainstreamem. Ve skladbě programu jsme velmi ambiciózní a jsme rádi, že díky spolupráci s distributory jako jsou Falcon, CinemArt, Aerofilms či Vertical Entertainment můžeme představit dlouho očekávané tituly Napoleon režiséra Ridleyho Scotta s Joaquinem Phoenixem v hlavní roli nebo vítěze festivalu v Cannes Anatomii pádu,” doplňuje umělecký ředitel MFF KV Karel Och.

Viewers will be able to purchase a bargain for the entire season of Tady Vary 2023/24 as they are used to in the case of theatres or classical music. The advantage of a subscription is the price and fixed dates in advance, which will make it easier for viewers to plan a visit to the cinema. Instead of 10 movies, subscribers will only pay for seven and three will get gratis. That’s an advantage even if they don’t make it through one of the evenings. In addition, tickets are portable – subscribers can donate the selected performance to friends or family. Seats that don’t fill up in the pre-sale will be released a few days before the event for sale at full price.

For the entire season of Tady Vary 2023/24, a discounted subscription is on sale from September 19, 2023. Tickets can also be purchased individually, but only a few days before the show and only in cinemas that do not sell out subscribers.
