Invitation to commemorative event “Jan Masaryk in London”

In 2023, we commemorate 75 years since the tragic death of one of the most impactful figures of our diplomacy, former Czechoslovak Minister of Foreign Affairs and our longest serving Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Jan Masaryk. In order to remember his extraordinary life and achievements, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London would like to invite you to our commemorative event:

A panel debate with

and

Film screening

‚A Prominent Patient‘

Acclaimed drama by director Julius Ševčík about the life of Jana Masaryk in London on the eve of WWII.

The film will be screened in Czech with English subtitles
