SHE’S GONE: ART PROTESTING AGAINST VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

„She’s Gone” exhibition focuses on a socially significant, although still neglected, topic which is violence against women. Originally this project was created in Israel איננה עוד She’s gone by Keren Goldstein Yehezkeli, but today it travels all over the world and its goal is to draw attention to a problem that no society avoids.

Now, thanks to the cooperation with the organization Women for Women Czech and the Parliament of the Czech Republic, we will not only present it in Prague, but also expand it with a Czech element. This is the tragic story of the famous Czech writer Simona Monyova, who became a victim of her own husband.

The auspices were kindly given by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Mrs. Markéta Pekarová Adamová, and Mr. Michal Zuna, member of the Subcommittee for Domestic and Sexual Violence.

The exhibition can be visited on weekdays at the following times:

On March 21-23 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

March 24–31 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
