Jan Vondráček selected as new voice of Prague’s public transportation system

Jan Vondráček, an actor from the Prague Theatre v Dlouhé, has recently begun announcing the names of tram stations and other information for passengers in Prague. His voice was selected in a poll conducted last year, and will also be used on bus lines in the spring.

Vondráček will be responsible for making 10,567 announcements for buses, trams, and trolleybuses on urban and suburban lines. In the poll, 62.15% of over 200,000 participants voted for Vondráček to be the new voice of the Prague Integrated Transport system.
