Lietuvos ambasada Prahoje / Embassy of Lithuania in Prague
The embassies of the Baltic and Nordic countries in Prague celebrated the national days of their countries together for the 17th time. The Ukrainian embassy was also invited to join for the third time, which has focused all its resources on the defense of the country due to the war started by Russia.
“Eight of the Nordic and Baltic countries – one of the most active supporters of Ukraine, we are in the top five financial donors according to the percentage of GDP”, – Lithuanian Ambassador Laimonas Talat-Kelpša told the large gathering of guests.
The guest of honor was Milos Vystrčilas, the Speaker of the Czech Senate, other parliament, government officials, members of scientific and non-governmental organizations, representatives of urban self-government, culture and business spheres and the diaspora.
Traditionally, there were traditions, achievements, national cuisine delicacies; Lithuanian table decor and feast this year were dedicated to our forests.
