The weather conditions are expected to be influenced by a low-pressure system initially, later replaced by a ridge of higher air pressure in the upcoming week.

Honsová anticipates persistent and abundant snowfall on Friday evening, extending into the night and throughout Saturday. While occasional snow showers may follow in the subsequent days, temperatures are predicted to remain below freezing throughout daylight hours.

Thursday will see mostly cloudy skies with increasing cloudiness, leading to occasional snow showers or snowfall. Daytime temperatures will hover between -3 and 1 °C.

Friday’s forecast indicates mostly cloudy conditions, with snowfall intensifying from the south during the day, accompanied by temporary freezing rain. Morning lows are projected to range from -1 to -7 °C, with daytime temperatures reaching -2 to 2 °C.

Saturday is expected to be overcast, featuring widespread and substantial snowfall across the entire region. Morning temperatures will dip to -1 to -5 °C, while daytime temperatures will remain in the range of -4 to 0 °C.

Sunday’s outlook suggests cloudy skies with sporadic snow showers. Morning temperatures are set to drop to -6 to -10 °C, and daytime temperatures will linger between -5 and -1 °C.

Looking ahead to Monday through Wednesday, the forecast indicates partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated snow showers and morning fog. Morning temperatures are expected to plummet to -6 to -10 °C, while daytime temperatures will range between -5 and -1 °C.

As winter takes hold, the weather conditions reflect a typical seasonal shift, prompting residents to brace for cold temperatures and significant snowfall, emphasizing the need for winter preparedness and safety measures.
