On February 14, 2024, our network’s new regional food store opened in Stepanese Street No. 63 just off Wenceslas Square in Prague. The store offers food from regional food award winners, organic organic or KLASA-branded products.

 “Under the same roof, people will be able to buy the best and best quality food with proven quality marks. We also wanted to give space to regional producers so that they can present their products in the centre of our metropolis, promoting Czech and Moray food and agriculture. Since the shop is in the centre, we assume that tourists who are interested in getting to know the tastes of our country will find their way into it,” said Minister of Agriculture Marek Výborný (KDU-ČSL).

For example, customers will be able to choose regional cheeses, fruits and vegetables, dairy, confectionery and meat products, oils or fish specialities from the store. Various seasonal tastings and promo events are also planned. It will be open Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.  “It is the first store in the Czech Republic to offer regional products from all our regions in one place. We are keeping the list of suppliers open, others may be involved in the project. We offer the opportunity to get in touch with the coordinator of the event, which is the Exhibition Centre of Ceske Budejovice, and to arrange cooperation,” adds the director general of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund, Petr Dlouhý.  Assuming about 80% of the range will be with quality brands, 20% will be other farm and seasonal products from local suppliers.  The State Agricultural Intervention Fund and the Czech Budejovice Exhibition Centre are participating in our NETWORK PROJECT with the Ministry of Agriculture. The shop will be operated by a private entity.
