Peroni Nastro Azzurro enters the Czech market

It promises to combine a beer experience with the typical La Dolce Vita lifestyle and a friendly atmosphere. The leader among Italian beers Peroni Nastro Azzurro is coming to the Czech market. More than 5.5 million hectoliters of the popular Italian lager are sold annually in 74 countries around the world. “Drinking beer has always been associated with well-being and experiences. The combination of Peroni Nastro Azzurro with light Italian cuisine offers Czech beer lovers a great opportunity to enjoy the true atmosphere typical of the Apennine Peninsula in the Czech Republic,” says Paolo Lanzarotti, executive director of the brewing company ASAHI Europe and International, to whose portfolio Peroni Nastro Azzurro belongs. The story of Peroni Nastro Azzurro beer began in 1963 in the foothills of the Alps in Lombardy. It was then that the Peroni family, with respect for traditional Italian values, quality and craftsmanship, created a beer born from the spirited spirit and lifestyle of La Dolce Vita, the sweet life. The fresh lager quickly gained its fans and soon spread all over the world. Already the third generation of master brewers brew it with the same care, attention to detail, using the best ingredients, creating a popular drink that perfectly complements the Italian nature and typical sociability.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro is brewed for the Czech market exclusively in breweries in Bari, Padua and Rome. It is a bottom-fermented lager with a golden color and white foam. Barley malt enriched with the addition of Nostrano dell’Isola corn grown especially for Peroni and a balanced ratio of aromatic and bitter hops gives it an unmistakable taste. Its character is also positively influenced by the unique soft water with minimal mineral content. The result is a more fermented, sharp, refreshing beer with a lighter color. Aromatic notes of citrus are also heard in the balanced taste. The characteristic mild bitterness of beer is provided by aromatic hops. The lager contains 5.0% alcohol and has an alcohol content of 11.45%. It differs from a typical Czech lager in the recipe, basic ingredients and some technological production procedures. Peroni Nastro Azzurro enters our market in glass 0.33l bottles, which represent the world-famous school of Italian design and add charm and style to drinking Peroni beer. Italian lager is available from June in 160 selected premium restaurants and bars in the Czech Republic and in Albert, Billa, Rohlík.cz, Makro, JIP and Lidl stores.
