PH AMBASSADOR BIDS FAREWELL TO ASIAN AMBASSADORS
Ambassador Ombra T. Jainal, Dean of the Asian Ambassadors Group in Prague (AAGP), bid farewell to his counterparts at a luncheon meeting at the Grand Cru Restaurant in Prague on 21 June 2022.
At the meeting, Ambassador Jainal thanked the Asian Ambassadors for the trust and confidence they bestowed upon him when he took the helm of the group about two years ago. He also extended his appreciation for their cooperation because, together, they were able to achieve common objectives even amidst the global health pandemic.
During his tenure, Ambassador Jainal led the meetings of the AAGP with the former Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek, Czech Special Envoy to the Indo-Pacific Libor Sečka, and Czech Member of European Parliament Jan Zahradil.
Ambassador Jainal turned over the chairmanship of the AAGP to H.E. Ambassador Shahzad Gul Aryobee of Afghanistan.
Ambassadors and CDAs of the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Korea, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, India, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Iran and China comprise the Asian Ambassadors Group in Prague. END.
