Prague public transport ends summer timetable

The summer timetable in Prague and Central Bohemia ends and will return to normal operations from the beginning of September. Towards the end of the summer, further connections to the Prague Transport Association will be added, which improves the connection to some places around Prague.

In Prague’s local transport, the intervals of subway, tram and bus lines will be shortened again, school lines and school connections on suburban lines will be put into operation again. Directly in the capital, the connections change only in a few cases, the most significant is the expansion of night traffic in the Zbraslavi area with the new line 917 from Modřany to Lipenci, the current line 907 changes its route to Baní. Also in the area of Vinohrad, Košíř and Cholupic, three new school lines will be introduced for direct connection to the elementary schools there.

Some places around Prague will have better connections to each other and to Prague. For example, there will be a new direct connection between Říčany and Úvaly and Český Brod with the new line 686 and the extended line 435, which will improve Říčany’s transport connections. School connections will better connect the areas of Dolní Břežany and Jesenice from September.
