Rainy Christmas and cold January are around the corner

The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute has forecasted that colder weather will return to the Czech Republic by mid-January. According to the forecast, temperatures will be above average from December 19th to December 25th, but will gradually cool down from December 26th.

During the holiday period, it is expected that there will be rain over most of the area, and mixed or snowy precipitation in the mountains. Nighttime temperatures are expected to be frosty throughout the next four weeks, with the lowest temperatures expected to be between 5 and 9 degrees Celsius.

In the last week of January, the weather is expected to cool significantly with nighttime temperatures falling to between -2 and -12 degrees Celsius and daytime temperatures ranging between -5 and 3 degrees Celsius.
