On 23 June 2022, H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Czech Republic, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Mission, diplomat and intern, visited Ceske Budejovice in order to explore the potential and seek opportunities for initiating posssible cooperation, comprising trade and investment, tourism and cultural relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic. On this occasion, H.E. Met with Ing. Jiri Svoboda, Lord Mayor of Ceske Budejovice, doc. Ing. Petr Konvalina, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for International Relations and Dr. Ing. Jaromir Kadlec, Vice-Dean for Education, Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, University of South Bohemia and Mgr. Petr Soukup, Director of South Bohemia Toruism Center and officers of the South Bohemia Tourism Center. Both sides agreed to support each other on promoting and exchanging of information and best practices on waste management, tourism, sport and cultural activities.
