Survey Shows Czech Drivers Prefer Conservative Car Colors, with Blue, White, and Silver as Top Choices

A recent survey conducted in the Czech Republic revealed that the majority of drivers in the country prefer to purchase cars in less bold, monochromatic colors. Blue, white, and silver were the most popular colors, while gold or yellow, green, and beige were the least favored choices.

The data collected by AURES Holdings, the company that operates AAA Auto dealerships, showed that men’s color preferences shift towards brown as they age, while women, in particular, become less interested in black as they get older. Black remains the dominant color among younger drivers, who associate it with luxury, while white is seen as trendy, and silver-gray is favored for its ability to minimize visible dirt and scratches.

According to Petr Vaněček, COO of AURES Holdings, Czech drivers are generally more conservative when choosing car colors and opt for less expressive shades. However, young female drivers under 25 are an exception to this trend and tend to choose from a broader range of colors.

TipCars, a company that analyzes car sales, also revealed that less bold colors are more prevalent for used cars. Blue is the most popular color for new and used vehicles, followed by white, black, and silver. The data also shows that white and gray are the most sought-after colors in Prague, while blue is the most popular in other regions.

The survey results provide valuable insights for car manufacturers and dealerships on the preferences of Czech drivers, allowing them to tailor their marketing strategies and stock availability accordingly. Understanding the color preferences of customers can also help dealerships offer more personalized service and improve customer satisfaction.
