The Czernin Palace Hosted a Forwarding of Money to Help Children in Need
Supporting children in need. This was the motive of the meeting on 7 June 2024 at the premises of the Czech diplomatic headquarters. The main part of the event was the ceremonial handover of the proceeds from the international charity festival organized by the Diplomatic Spouses Association (DSA). The amount of 1.1 million Czech crowns will go to fourteen non-profit organizations.
The financial donation to non-profit organizations was collected by the Diplomatic Spouses Association as part of a regular charity festival held under the auspices of First Lady Eva Pavlova. The children’s choir of the Harmonie Foundation also performed during the festival’s proceeds presentation ceremony. The support of charity activities by Czech diplomacy also contributes to the development of Czechia’s relations with many foreign partners and to strengthening the reputation of diplomacy as such.
