The first lady will meet with the human rights commissioner for charity, Pavel said

The incoming first lady of the Czech Republic, Eva Pavlová, is set to meet with the government commissioner for human rights, Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková, to discuss her charity work. President-elect Petr Pavel stated in an interview that his wife has already expressed her desire to be an active first lady, with a focus on issues such as gender equality, family, and support for single mothers. Pavlová has already made initial contacts and will be preparing her program in the coming weeks.

Pavel also mentioned that some of the excess funds from his election account have already been sent to various organizations, including the Blue Fish foundation which focuses on educational projects for disadvantaged youth. Pavlová has expressed interest in supporting various causes, including single parents, children in orphanages, and people with disabilities. As a dedicated and experienced public servant, both Pavel and Pavlová have a track record of serving the people. Pavlová is a lieutenant colonel in the reserve and has been elected to the council of the village where the couple now resides.
