On the anniversary of the most important day of our democracy, a July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day event was held at our Embassy residence, with a total of nearly 200 Czech Republic’s leading intellectuals, business people, politicians, especially the Former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Mr. Petr Nečas, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Martin Košatka, and Ambassadors and high ranking representatives from more than 30 countries.
The opening speech was made by our Ambassador H.E. Egemen Bağış and TRT World’s Editor Mr. Yusuf Erim attended our event as a guest speaker.
We commemorate with mercy and gratitude our citizens who passed away for the sake of our country, flag and democracy by standing against the treacherous coup attempt on
