The Institute for International Relations and the EUROPEUM, Institute for European Policy, have organised the  Prague European Summit, which has been held on the 10-11  November at the Liechtenstein Palace in Prague.

The event has offered a discussion regarding current challenges in Europe and has been attended by a number of governmental officials, diplomats, representatives of private organisations (including several NGOs).

The Words of Welcome have been by Ondřej Ditrych and Martin Vokálek, respectively Director and Executive Director of the Institute for International Relations and the Europeum.  The speakers have been selected among top experts in the various areas.  It appears difficult mentioning any of them in particular, but, as the event has been held in Prague, we feel  mentioning Ivan Bartos, the Czech Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalisation and Minister of Regional Development.

Emotions have been strong when the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic,  Prince Karel Scharzenberg, has been bestowed with the European Award during an official ceremony.
