Turin and Kuwait: Prague Airport Announces New Direct Routes
Two new destinations will be added to the Prague Airport’s list of direct routes – in the summer season, Italian city of Turin and Kuwait City, the capital of the eponymous country, will be connected with Prague by direct flights.
Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today, (11th April) announced an exciting new route for its Prague summer ’22 schedule to Turin, Italy starting 5th June. The route which will operate twice per week brings Ryanair’s total number of routes to/from Prague for summer ’22 to 29, connecting many cities and regions across Europe, giving our customers more options for travel than ever before.
Kuwait, the oil-producing country with the highest altitude of all states in the Arabian Gulf, will also soon be accessible by direct flights from Prague Airport. Jazeera Airways, the region’s fast-growing low-cost airline, will launch flights between Prague and Kuwait in June 2022. It will fly twice a week, every Tuesday and Sunday. The carrier will deploy Airbus A320Neo aircraft for 174 passengers on the route. The very first direct sky connection between the two countries will thus open Prague to the part of the Persian Gulf with considerable potential for inbound tourism. In the run-up to the pandemic, 12,000 people travelled between Prague and Kuwait without a direct flight connection in both directions, with direct air connections this number can increase significantly.
