USEFUL INFORMATION FOR THE UPCOMING INFORMAL MEETING OF NATO FOREIGN MINISTERS

Below we would like to summarise some useful information on the upcoming informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Prague on 30-31 May 2024.

The event begins with a panel discussion at the Czech Senate on Tuesday, featuring both Secretary General Stoltenberg and Minister Lipavský.

The event will be streamed in Czech on the Senate website and in English on the Jagello 2000 website Domů | Jagello 2000.

Thursday’s programme (30 May) continues with the reception of ministers at Prague Castle, including the presentation of the President’s award to Secretary General Stoltenberg. The award ceremony is open to the media, see Prezident republiky udělí státní vyznamenání Jensi Stoltenbergovi – Pražský hrad. The rest of the programme is without media participation (but a live stream is available at www.natomultimedia.tv).

Friday’s programme starts with the doorsteps of the Secretary General at 7:45 am, followed by Minister Lipavský at 8:00 am and then some other ministers.

The ministerial meeting itself begins at 9:30 a.m. The opening remarks of both Secretary-General Stoltenberg and Minister Lipavský will be streamed here: www.natomultimedia.tv.

The afternoon program then begins with a press conference by Secretary General Stoltenberg at the Hrzán Palace at 1 pm, followed by Minister Lipavský at 1:30 pm and Minister Blinken at 2 pm.
