Variable Cloudiness and Showers Expected with Above-Average Temperatures in the Czech Republic

Prague, Czech Republic, October 26, 2023 – Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová predicts that the upcoming weather in the Czech Republic will feature variable cloudiness and numerous showers in the coming days, although these showers are expected to decrease over the weekend. The good news is that temperatures will remain above average, and Sunday and the beginning of next week are anticipated to bring afternoon highs just below 20°C.

On Thursday, moist air from the west will lead to mostly cloudy conditions, with clouds thickening as the day progresses, and occasional rain or showers can be expected. Daytime temperatures will range between 12 and 17°C.

Friday is likely to be overcast, with rain or showers in the morning, which should ease off in the afternoon, allowing for partly cloudy skies. A fresh westerly wind with gusts of up to around 55 kilometers per hour is expected. Morning temperatures are projected to drop to 11-7°C, with daytime temperatures reaching 11-16°C.

Saturday will offer a mix of mostly cloudy and partly sunny conditions, with the possibility of showers in some areas and isolated morning fog. The lowest temperatures will range from 10 to 6°C, while daytime temperatures will vary between 12 and 16°C.

Sunday should see showers occurring only sporadically, with morning lows expected between 9 and 5°C, and afternoon temperatures reaching 14-18°C, possibly even reaching 19°C in southern Bohemia.

Moving into the beginning of the next week, Monday and Tuesday will be characterized by partly cloudy conditions, with morning fog possible in certain areas. Morning temperatures will range between 9 and 5°C, and daytime temperatures are forecasted to reach 14-19°C on Monday and 14-18°C on Tuesday.

As Tuesday afternoon progresses, cloudiness is expected to increase, accompanied by precipitation. Wednesday is anticipated to be mostly cloudy to overcast, with occasional showers or rain. Afternoon temperatures are projected to drop, ranging from 9 to 13°C, while the lowest morning temperatures will remain between 9 and 5°C.
