Winter Hiking – Panorama to Go Outdoor exercise boosts the immune system, calms the mind and nourishes the soul. More and more people have discovered winter hiking as a way to find tranquillity and enjoy the snow-covered landscape. KitzSki offers diverse and groomed winter hiking routes that can be easily reached with the KitzSki cable cars, such as the legendary panoramic walk on the Hahnenkamm to the St. Bernhard Chapel, the winter hiking route on the Kitzbüheler Horn from the Trattalmmulde to the picturesque Hornköpfl lake and the panoramic summits Hochetz or Stuckkogel at Bichlalm. The Walk & Fly winter hiking route in Jochberg includes a crossing with the 3S cable car to Pengelstein.

Designated Ski Touring Slopes Ski touring on the slopes has become a nationwide trend sport in Austria. KitzSki has responded to this demand and has created designated Ski Touring slopes across the ski resort. There are tours to the Gaisberg and Schwarzkogel (Kirchberg and Aschau), to the Bichlalm towards Stuckkogel and the Hochetzkogel (Kitzbühel) and to the Resterkogel (Pass Thurn).

Tobogganing in Kirchberg The toboggan run on the Gaisberg in Kirchberg holds a seal of approval for natural toboggan runs. Along the route, guests will cover approximately 3.5 km in length and descend 435 meters in altitude. Toboggans can be rented at Sport Gerry, right next to the Gaisberg chairlift.

High Altitude Cross-Country Skiing High-altitude cross-country ski slopes are renowned for their exceptional snow conditions and have been used for training by enthusiastic cross-country skiers for many decades.
